Shake It Up, Baby!

We love No Kid Hungry events. Here’s one with a twist: The Shake Up.

Throughout March, you can sip specially concocted craft cocktails (say that five times fast) and each one lands a $2 donation to national non-profit No Kid Hungry/Share Our Strength.

This one makes the mouth water: The most highly requested cocktail at Four Seasons’ Jové Kitchen & Bar. Named for mixologist Nathan Belovitch, it’s called “Nate’s Guest” and it’s a blend of Tito’s vodka, blueberries, pomegranate juice and muddled basil. Salut!

Participating Palm Beach area restaurants: Avocado Grill; Cafe Chardonnay; City Celler; Costa Palm Beach; Dada; Eau Palm Beach restaurants (Angle, Breeze Ocean Kitchen, Stir and Temple Orange); Grato; Hilton West Palm Beach; Jardin; Jové Kitchen & Bar; Max’s Harvest ; Okeechobee Steakhouse; PB Catch; Pistache; Shake Shack Boca Raton; The Cooper; and The Regional.

The Shake Up is not only thirst-quenching, it’s a competition. The two restaurants raising the largest donation through cocktail sales will earn coveted foyer bar spots at this year’s Taste of the Nation Palm Beach dinner April 20.

As ever, please drink responsibly.
