As part of its annual charitable giving, our publisher (the Palm Beach Board of Realtors®) has organized a T-Shirt & Sock Drive to benefit the Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County and the 1,500 men, women and children who are homeless on any given day in our community.

Providing essentials isn’t flashy, but it’s so important. Without socks and underthings, it’s just that much harder for kids to go back to school and adults to find meaningful work.

Here’s what our Realtor® members have donated so far:

  • 166 t-shirts
  • 93 pairs of underwear
  • 219 pairs of socks
  • Several generous cash donations, which we’ll use to go shopping and fill in the gaps.

The drive will run through August 15. To participate, please drop off donations of new socks, underwear and white t-shirts of all sizes, for both children and adults, at the Palm Beach Board of Realtors office (140 Royal Palm Way, Suite 205, Palm Beach). You can also mail a cash donation, and we’ll do the shopping for you. Please make checks out to Palm Beach Board of Realtors, and write “Homeless Coalition” in the memo.

The Homeless Coalition of Palm Beach County serves and supports homeless families and individuals locally, and leads in policy-making, strategy and advocacy on the state and national levels.

The Palm Beach Board of Realtors® is a trade organization serving hundreds of real estate professionals on the island of Palm Beach and in surrounding areas.
