Oh, this is an exciting development.
The Armory Art Center (1700 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach) has announced its plans to host the new West Palm Beach Arts Festival. That means 180 fine artists – including Armory faculty and students – will show and sell their work. We don’t have too many specifics, but we’d expect to see everything from paintings, drawings and photography to jewelry, ceramics and fiber art.
The festival will be held December 4-5 at the Armory, perfect timing for holiday shoppers and returning seasonal residents. (We’re always partial to interesting ceramic creations, if you’d like to pick us up a little something.)
And if you’re an artist, you don’t need to be affiliated with the Armory to participate. Artists are invited to register through September 15. There’s a $25 application fee for the 10×10 booths, which cost $125 each. You can read the details on the festival’s Call to Artists page.
