Florida = retirement.
Palm Beach, Florida = retirement with style.
Conde Nast Traveller agrees, naming the island one of the nation’s 12 Best Places to Retire. The magazine surveyed readers aged 68 and older about their favorite places to live, visit and play, and also asked where they found the environment safe and residents friendly.
In the results, Conde Nast mentioned “high-end shopping on Worth Avenue; restaurants that will keep Manhattan snowbirds happy; and a lively, senior-friendly social scene – all a short walk or drive to the beach.”
If that’s not enough, consider this final perk – “full permission to wear seersucker and Pulitzer year-round.”
