Look across the Intracoastal. The boats are here, hundreds of them, for the 31st Annual Palm Beach International Boat Show.
There’ll be superyachts, fishing boats, ski boats, kayaks and inflatable rafts. But the boat we’re most excited to see isn’t really a boat at all. Its inventors, in fact, call it a “twisted union of a marine mammal and a high-performance fighter jet.”
It’s the Seabreacher. It dives, swivels and soars from under the water like a breaching Orca (thus the name). It can do barrel rolls, and reach speeds of 25 mph underwater and 50+ on the surface. You can have it styled to look like a dolphin, a shark, or a whale, customized to your exact specifications, starting at $85,000.
Visit the boat show and take a selfie with the Seabreacher, which will be on display at the AquaZone at Meyer Amphitheater. The show schedule: Thursday, March 17: Noon to 7 p.m.; Friday, March 18: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, March 19: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, March 20: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Tickets are $21 for adults and $11 for children 6-15. Visit ShowManagement.com for more information.
